Superior Linen Service is the chosen provider of linen and facility services for over 3,000 healthcare and hospitality businesses across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Southern Missouri, and Southern Kansas. We are there for our customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to ensure that their every phone call is answered, every delivery is made, and that every customer feels valued. When we look at the work we’ve done at the end of each day, we can truly say we did something good for our customers, our employees, the community, and the environment.

Beginning
Irving Waldman starts Industrial Uniform and Towel Supply in downtown Tulsa, OK to provide local uniform service to the area.
Family Tradition
Gilbert Waldman joins his father in the family business after graduating law school at the University of Tulsa.


Movin' On Up
Business was booming and Industrial Uniform moves into a new facility in Tulsa on 12th Street to gain some much needed space.
KP Superior
Industrial Uniform acquires a small family-owned towel and apron business called KP Towel, and enters the linen business as KP Superior, a division of Industrial Uniform. Initial revenue for KP Superior was under $2000 per week.

Expansion
Industrial Uniform continues to grow, expanding into more states and adding additional processing plants and branch offices.
KP Superior Growth
KP Superior, the linen division of Industrial Uniform, was processing its linen in a small plant in Tulsa, OK on 93rd East Avenue. Since its inception, KP Superior was known as Superior Linen and had grown to 4 routes, 30 employees, and a revenue of $7,000 per week.

Oklahoma City Branch
KP Superior opens a branch in Oklahoma City.
Fort Smith Branch Opens
KP Superior purchases the former Sunshine Laundry and opens a branch in Fort Smith, Arkansas.


Big Changes & Buyouts From Cintas Corp.
Industrial Uniform and Towel Supply is sold to the Cintas Corporation, including all uniform processing plants and garment warehouses. At that time, Industrial had become one of the largest independent uniform supply companies in the Southwest with plants in Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas serving customers in 5 states. The KP Superior division was not part of the sale.
Superior Linen Service, Inc.
Superior Linen Service, Inc. was incorporated to continue the linen supply business with a starting weekly revenue of $30,000.

Headquarters
The corporate office was established in a former warehouse at 6959 E. 12 Street in Tulsa, OK while processing the linen in the plant on 93rd East Avenue.

Razorback Acquisition
Superior Linen Service acquires Razorback Linen in downtown Fayetteville, AR.

Downtown Tulsa
Superior Linen Service acquires Tulsa Linen Company and moves from 93rd East Avenue back into downtown Tulsa.
Acquisition of Advance Linen
The Advance Linen Company facility in Muskogee, OK becomes the home of another Superior Linen Service processing plant.

Third Generation
The family tradition continues as Douglas Waldman, Gilbert’s son, joins the family business.
World Wide Web
Superior Linen Service, Inc went online as superlinen.com.

Keystone & Pioneer
Superior Linen Service acquires Keystone Laundry in Baxter Springs, KS and Pioneer Linen in Ponca City, OK.
The Eastern Division
Superior Linen Service moves into a new facility in Springdale, AR with annual revenue now exceeding $10 million.


The Healthcare Division
Superior Linens Service converts the Muskogee, OK plant into a pure healthcare linen processing facility.
Excellent Acquisition
Superior Linen Service acquires the linen business from Excel Linen and Western Uniform, establishing a presence in the Wichita market.
New Equipment
Superior Linen Service updates the Healthcare Division in Muskogee, OK with a state-of-the-art tunnel system.
Major Growth
Superior Linen Service acquires Western Uniform in Wichita, KS, Tristate Uniform in Springfield, MO, Medsource/HLS in Coffeeville, KS, and National Linen in Tulsa, OK.


Round Two
Superior Linens Service expands the Healthcare Division again, adding a second tunnel processing system. Over $1 Million in equipment was invested at the Healthcare Division alone in 3 years.

Superior Linens Service was recognized as one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Tulsa for two years in a row (2001-2002).
Little Rock, AR Branch
Superior Linen Service expands into the Little Rock, AR market.


Fort Smith
Superior Linen Service acquires Fort Smith Industrial Laundry in Fort Smith, AR.
HLAC Accreditation
Superior Linen Service became the 7th laundry in the United States to be accredited by the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council. Annual revenue exceeds $20 million.


Recognition
Inc. Magazine recognizes Superior Linen Service as one of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
Major Growth Continues
Superior Linen Service is again recognized in Inc. Magazine as one of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Revenue hits $30 million.

Brand New Look
After nearly 30 years, Superior Linen Service makes the decision to rebrand the company. With that, a new logo, a new website, and a new social media presence made their debut with much more just around the corner.
A Time to Remember
Superior Linen Service celebrates 60 years with the commissioning of a special memory book to present to employees and friends of the company at the company wide anniversary gala.


Eastern Division Achievement
Director of the Arkansas Department of Labor has announced that Superior Linen Service’s Eastern Division has achieved status in the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).
Eastern Division Celebrates
Superior Linen Service’s Eastern Division celebrates another year without a lost-time accident. This facility, which is also an OSHA SHARP plant, has successfully run a near-model safety management program for the past eight consecutive years.


Muskogee Flood
A severe storm caused unprecedented flooding to the Muskogee facility and the local surrounding area. All equipment and most of the product in the building was destroyed or ruined beyond repair. Superior Linen Service redistributed the Healthcare Division business and began actively looking for an alternate site to rebuild.
